Bookings, Deposits and Payments

To book a place on any of our retreats or workshops we would ask you to send in a deposit to confirm your place. As you can imagine it takes a lot of organisation to ensure that the retreats/workshops are correctly provisioned for, according to the numbers attending. On occasion people have provisionally booked a place and then pulled out at the last minute, thus leaving a few places vacant which could have been filled by others previously turned down due to the event being full. Therefore until your deposit has been sent, we can not guarentee your place.

Deposits for all retreats are £100, and are non-refundable within 3 weeks of the retreat commencing except for special circumstances such as a family emergency. Please do not pay the full amount for the retreat in one lump sum, as we settle direct with our venues. Bring a blank cheque or cash to pay the remainder when you arrive on the first day of the retreat. We are unable to accept credit/debit cards of any kind.

Deposits for workshops are £40 and are non-refundable within 10 days of the workshop commencing. Once again please do not pay the full amount for the retreat in one lump sum, as we settle direct with our venues. Bring a blank cheque or cash to pay the remainder when you arrive on the first day of the workshop. We are unable to accept credit/debit cards of any kind.

Please do not send us any deposits until we have confirmed your booking.

Deposits can be paid by cheque or by direct bank transfer. Please make cheques payable to “Dhamma Retreats” and put on the back of the cheque the retreat/workshop name with dates, and which participants it pertains to. Our postal address is:

To make a deposit by bank transfer, please email us and we will send you our bank details. Please include your name in the bank transfer if not from your account, along with the name and date of the workshop/retreat you are paying for in an email to us to confirm your place.

For the rest of the payment we would ask you to bring a blank cheque or cash and settle on arrival, as we pay directly to our retreat/workshop venues.

Please note we do NOT accept cards as we do not have the facitlity to do this so please bring either cash or cheque to the venue only.

Please, please ensure you have the means to pay for your workshop/retreat upon arrival. It is a lot of extra work to cater for those who have forgotten their cheque books, or not brought cash upon arrival of the retreat.
