The Orphanage in Yangon
There are many ways in which Burgs is currently contributing to the restructuring of southern Burma in the wake of the cyclone tragedy, the orphanage in Yangon is one of them. It currently has 75 resident children between the ages of three and sixteen. It is run by monks and the children are taught Dhamma as well as regular schooling. £100 pounds can provide for them what £500 pounds might cost to provide in the UK so the benefits we can bring from our small contributions are considerable.
We aim to send out monthly support to look after the kids, so if you wish to get involved please do contact us.
