Clarifying Key Stages in Vipassana Practice

Hello everyone,

This week I would like to share an audio recording from our Vipassana retreat. The recording is taken from a questions and answers session on retreat where I am trying to clarify and outline some of the key points of Vipassana practice. I do realise that these teachings are subtle and relate to more advanced meditation practice, but I am aware that there are many of you who practice Vipassana already who may find this helpful. Sometimes it can be difficult to identify some of the staging posts along the path to awakening. I hope this discourse conveys something of the “flavour of liberation” as well as how we might decide to take our practice towards that end.

I hope you enjoy,

Clarifying Vipassana Practice - There is the not knowing, the coming to know, and the knowing. It need not take forever. We need sharper insight to dismantle our sense of self. Then we are no longer confused, it’s just a question of time and we are not afraid any more.
