Overcoming Anxiety, Developing Ease, Building Resilience
Dear Friends.
I have been working recently to develop a series of tools and guidelines for the many people who have found themselves battling with anxiety in its many forms over the past months. Anxiety can be crippling, and one of the worst things about it is that when we are in the middle of a bout with it, we are rarely as effective at utilising what tools we might actually have available as when we are clear minded and level headed. It is one of the special occasions where we might feel we really need some hand-holding or a wing over us while we battle through it.
To this end I started to gather the best guidance I have with regards to how you can steer yourself more skilfully through those dark and debilitating times where we feel incapacitated to some degree by anxiety, stress and even fear.
It is important we have a strategy in place that allows us to deal with the varying degrees to which we might find ourselves incapacitated by anxiety - from crisis management to an ongoing daily regimen of healthy habits and mental hygiene.
I am working currently on an online programme that we can offer through our online course platform. But for all of you who are already practicing with me to some degree I have made available the weekend workshop that I ran recently for anyone who was unable to attend live for various reasons. Because of the more delicate nature of the subject matter and the fact that by definition many of the participants may have been in a delicate position I felt it necessary to limit the size of the group on the actual event. I know a number of you applied to join only to find it was already full.
You can now follow the workshop in your own time through our online course platform. I think that the material offered will be of value to many of you in a time where there simply is significantly more anxiety in general out there. Getting a good handle on our challenges and building our personal resilience are keys to our overall sense of wellbeing in any time of challenge. I have designed this programme to dovetail into the guidance and principles that I am sharing throughout all of my teachings. Key to our whole approach is self-empowerment through self-mastery. And so the goal is always to help us to elevate ourselves to a more coherent state where we can surmount our challenges for ourselves, through the informed use of the appropriate tools and practices.

I have also recently started of offer “ Drop-in Online Anxiety Clinics” which are group sessions designed to provide a session of anxiety management and reduction to help you get through. These are offered on a donation basis and there is no need to register in advance. Just turn up and tune in on the night. The next session is next Wednesday 4th August from 7-8pm.
